Double SEA Hydraulic Barriers, Dundalk, Louth
Our team completed a double hydraulic barrier installation in Dundalk, Louth. We installed two SEA hydraulic barriers as the main vehicle-control equipment for the project, creating the confirmed double-barrier arrangement. This type of installation sits naturally within our work with boom gates, using two SEA units together at the entrance.
We incorporated inverter technology as the control technology for the barrier system. It was configured as part of the motorised operation of the two hydraulic barriers and integrated into the completed arrangement. We also configured BEA EVO virtual loops for the two confirmed functions: safety and free exit. The BEA EVO setup provides the required detection for these functions and ensures that the safety and free-exit configuration forms an integral part of the completed barrier installation.
We installed a GSM intercom as the communication component of the barrier system. The intercom supports communication at the entrance and operates alongside the double SEA hydraulic barriers and their control setup. Our team completed the project with two SEA hydraulic barriers, inverter technology, BEA EVO virtual loops configured for safety and free exit, and a GSM intercom for entrance communication.
