Single Commercial Sliding Gate – Pharmaceutical Facility

We installed a single commercial sliding gate at a pharmaceutical facility, providing a 12,000 mm clear opening at the entrance. The gate was constructed using 200 × 100 sections with 60 × 60 infill. For this commercial entrance, we combined the gate construction with an automated drive and dedicated safety equipment.

We automated the gate using a SEA Lupus 2000 kg sliding gate motor, controlled through inverter technology and an inverter control panel. The motor provides powered opening and closing for the motorised gate. We also fitted two sets of photocells and six resistive safety edges. The safety equipment combines photocell detection with contact-sensitive resistive edges.

We completed the safety setup with a flashing warning light, providing a visual warning at the entrance. The finished gate installation brings together the single sliding gate, inverter-controlled automation, two sets of photocells and six resistive safety edges, with the warning light completing the equipment fitted at the pharmaceutical facility.
