Decorative Steel Swing Gates, Swords, Dublin
We completed one of our gate installations at a property in Swords, Dublin, fitting decorative steel double swing gates. The steelwork was galvanised and powder-coated in black RAL 9005, providing the specified protective treatment and finish. We positioned the gates towards the rear of the entrance pillars to use the available space and provide the maximum opening between them. The completed metal gates form a double-leaf arrangement across the driveway entrance.
We automated the gates using a SEA 24-volt underground system with built-in safety functionality. Two sets of photocells were also installed as part of the automation work. This configuration provided the required operating and safety equipment for both leaves of the double swing gate system without adding visible above-ground operators.
Access to the motorised gate system can be operated using the supplied remote controls or the installed GSM intercom. The GSM system can call up to five telephone numbers sequentially and includes a dial-to-open function. We also installed a built-in keypad, providing an alternative access method when a phone or remote control is unavailable. The completed system combines underground gate automation, safety equipment and multiple access-control options within one installation.
