Full Aluminium Sliding Gate – Salthill, Galway

We installed a full aluminium sliding gate in Salthill, Galway. The gate model is Celina, with vertically arranged aluminium boards and narrow spacing between them. We finished it in RAL 7037 to match the windows. The same colour runs across the gate, while the spacing between the boards remains visible throughout its width. This project brought the Celina design and full aluminium construction together in a sliding entrance gate.

We automated the gate with a SEA Mercury 800 kg, 24-volt motor. The system includes reverse-on-obstacle functionality, and we fitted photocells inside and outside the entrance for safety. These components work alongside the motor during operation, providing the confirmed safety functions for the motorised gate. The automation was installed for the Celina gate and its sliding movement.

Access is controlled using remote controls and integration with the Control4 app. An intercom was provided by others. We also fitted a parcel box into the wall as additional work on the project. The completed gate installation combines the RAL 7037 aluminium gate with SEA Mercury automation, internal and external photocells, remote controls and Control4 app integration.
