Aluminium Sliding Gate with Horizontal Slats, Dublin

We installed a full aluminium sliding gate for this project in Dublin, finished in RAL 7016. The gate uses 150 mm horizontal boards across the main section, with evenly spaced 90 mm horizontal slats across the upper section. This combination maintains the confirmed full aluminium construction throughout and is directly relevant to our work with aluminium gates.

We automated the gate using a SEA Mercury 800 kg 24-volt motor. The 800 kg figure refers to the motor specification and not the actual weight of the gate. Reverse-on-obstacle functionality is built into the automation system. As a motorised gate, the installation also includes photocells fitted inside and outside as the confirmed safety equipment.

For access and communication, our team fitted an IP video intercom with a combined keypad. A seven-inch screen was installed inside the residence for video communication, while the system also includes built-in mobile-app functionality. This is one of our gate installations combining the aluminium gate, horizontal-board layout, SEA Mercury automation, internal and external photocells, and confirmed video intercom and access-control equipment.
