Bi-Parting Steel Sliding Gate, Moynalvey, Meath
We installed a bi-parting sliding gate in Moynalvey, Meath, consisting of two sections that part from the centre. The gate uses a steel gate frame fitted with 90 mm aluminium tongue-and-groove boards. This combination brings together different gate materials within the confirmed bi-parting configuration. We also installed decorative end posts as part of the completed gate arrangement.
We automated the bi-parting gate using two Mercury 24-volt motors configured for the centre-parting setup. As a motorised gate, the installation includes reverse-on-obstacle functionality. Our team also fitted photocells inside and outside the gate, with their placement covering both sides of the entrance.
For access and communication, we installed a combined video intercom and keypad. The intercom provides video communication at the gate, while the keypad offers an additional method of operating the entrance. Remote controls were also supplied for remote gate operation. This is one of our gate installations combining a bi-parting configuration, steel frame, 90 mm aluminium tongue-and-groove boards, decorative end posts, twin Mercury automation, reverse-on-obstacle functionality, internal and external photocells, and the confirmed access equipment.
