High-Security Commercial Sliding Gate for Loading Bay, Cork

We completed the installation of a high-security commercial sliding gate in Cork for a loading-bay application. The sliding configuration provides a controlled entrance system designed around the operational requirements of the loading-bay access point. This configuration represents one of the gate types used for commercial vehicle entrances, with the gate opening and closing along its designated path.

We automated the sliding gate using a 4,000 kg sliding gate motor. The 4,000 kg figure refers to the motor specification rather than the actual weight of the gate. As a motorised gate, the automation system incorporates inverter technology to manage the motor during opening and closing. The completed system combines the gate and automation equipment within the loading-bay installation.

Safety lasers and flashing lights were also included as part of the automated gate system. The safety lasers monitor the operating area, while the flashing lights provide a visible indication when the automated system is active. These components work alongside the sliding gate motor as part of the completed automation arrangement.
