Steel-Framed Sliding Gate with Aluminium Boards, Maynooth, Kildare

Our team completed this project in Maynooth, Kildare, installing a steel-framed sliding gate fitted with 90 mm aluminium boards. The steel gate frame was galvanised and powder-coated, while aluminium was used for the confirmed board infill. This combination brings together two different gate materials within the completed sliding configuration.

We automated the gate using a Mercury 24-volt motor. As a motorised gate, the system includes reverse-on-obstacle functionality as part of the confirmed operation. We also fitted two sets of photocells as the specified safety equipment for the automated installation.

For access and communication, we fitted a combined video intercom and keypad. The video intercom provides communication at the gate, while the keypad offers another method of operating it. Remote controls were also supplied for gate operation. The Maynooth project adds to our gate installations, combining a galvanised and powder-coated steel frame, 90 mm aluminium boards, Mercury automation, reverse-on-obstacle functionality, two sets of photocells, video intercom, keypad and remote controls.
