Steel Gates, Ballsbridge, Dublin

We completed a steel gate project in Ballsbridge, Dublin, producing and installing steel double swing gates for the entrance. We designed the gates specifically to replicate the original gates and railings. This confirmed design requirement remained central throughout the project, ensuring that the completed gate arrangement followed the appearance and form of the original entrance elements.

To provide motorised operation, we installed SEA 24-volt field motors for the double swing gates. The automation system incorporates integrated safety, together with one set of photocells and a safety loop. Each of these elements forms part of the safety provision for the automated entrance, supporting the management of gate movement within the completed system. Their inclusion brings the automation and safety equipment together within the same gate installation.

The entrance system also includes a GSM two-button intercom. We installed the intercom to support communication at the entrance and provide the confirmed two-button operation for this project. Our team completed the work by bringing together the replicated steel double swing gates, SEA 24-volt field motors, integrated safety system, photocells, safety loop and GSM two-button intercom as a complete motorised gate installation in Ballsbridge.
