Steel Sliding Gate with Composite Infill, Straffan, Kildare
We completed this steel gate installation in Straffan, Kildare, using a galvanised and powder-coated steel structure with composite infill. The installation also included matching posts, providing a consistent construction across the gate and its supporting elements. The steel construction and composite infill bring together the confirmed gate materials for the project. This sliding gate configuration was installed as the confirmed gate type, with the steelwork, composite infill and posts completed as part of the same installation.
We automated the gate using a SEA Mercury 800 kg 24-volt motor. This motor formed the main automation equipment for the completed motorised gate system. Our team also fitted two sets of photocells as part of the automated installation, providing the specified safety equipment alongside the gate motor.
Access and communication equipment included a combined video intercom and keypad. A seven-inch monitor was installed inside the home to support video communication and internal monitoring, while the integrated keypad provides the confirmed access-control function. Our team also completed all groundworks required for the gate installation. The finished project brought together the steel gate, composite infill, matching posts, motor, photocells, communication equipment and groundworks within one coordinated installation.
