Swing Gates with Oak Wood-Effect Aluminium Infill, Kilcock, Kildare
Our team completed this project in Kilcock, Kildare, using a pair of swing gates that were galvanised and powder-coated before being fitted with 90 mm oak wood-effect aluminium board infill. The aluminium infill represents one of the confirmed gate materials used within the project. Its oak-effect finish gives the gates the appearance of a wooden gate without using natural timber.
We automated the gates using SEA Field 24-volt underground motors. As a motorised gate system, the installation includes reverse-on-obstacle functionality and two sets of photocells as the confirmed safety equipment. An integrated postbox was also incorporated with a combined video intercom and keypad, bringing communication and access control together at the entrance.
Battery backup was included for use during a power failure. The completed Kilcock project adds to our gate installations, combining wood-effect aluminium infill, underground SEA Field automation, reverse-on-obstacle functionality, two sets of photocells, an integrated postbox, video intercom, keypad and battery backup.
